They were often available with different sleeves and song-compilations than the British originals. At that time, about 40 years ago today, when SGT. PEPPER told the band to play, it was mostly left to the local affiliates of their record company, as to how and in which design they would choose to present the music of the fabulous four to their fans in the respective countries.
